今天也是在我们车间里，我发现一个问题，这个灯条真的真的是不能乱用的，之前呢我对灯条的研究还不是特别深，但是我们老板和我们一些主管，他们对灯条研究还是比较多，今天又学习到一个新知识——带透镜的灯条不适合用于展柜内部。

这位客户是一个卖珍珠的客户，他就是要求我们用这种带透镜的灯条，而且卖灯条这个厂家是他提供的。

那我想我们工厂有自己用开的灯条供应厂家，但是客户提供了嘛，也是想着就试用一下先，并没有大批量采购。

结果这一用，不用不知道，一用就发现了非常非常非常多的问题。

第1个就是功率非常大，非常大，这种带透镜的灯条真的不要乱用，完全不适合柜台内部去用。因为我们柜台内部就是二三十公分的高度，其实高度不高，完全没有必要用这种带透镜的。

带透镜的灯，它是射程远一些，然后更加聚光，功率大，24伏，我们柜内灯条都是用12伏的，它一个柜台用24伏的太大了，对于客户他们制造的成本也会高一些。

第2个是功率大，必然导致发烫，半个小时就非常非常烫了，都放在玻璃展柜里面，也是烫手的很。

第3个是品质差。才测试半天，明显两颗灯珠已经不亮了，就是你寄一条样品给我就已经是这样了，我根本就不敢用他们的这种灯条，而且我们的柜台呢是圆弧的这种，拉弯还有难度。

所以就有很多问题，你看这边这节是我们自己的灯罩，顾客站柜台前面看珍珠，其实是看不到它的灯珠的就不刺眼。但是这种灯条就不行，他们这种角度是在大众市场上通用的角度，他们做产品灯罩没有经过测试，像我们这种灯光的这个角度噢，我们自己经过测试它就是不刺眼了，你刚开始呢不知道，现在呢有了对比，你才比较好理解他们这个之间的差异。

光是小小的一个灯条和灯罩的配合，我们打样开磨具就花了1年多的时间才定下来全厂通用这种灯罩，色温、阈值、角度、光照的方向，而其他展柜厂往往只知道一个色温。

Today, while working in our workshop, I encountered an issue that I would like to bring to your attention: the inappropriate use of certain types of LED strips. Although my initial knowledge on LED strips was limited, our management team, who have a deeper understanding, imparted a new lesson today—that LED strips with lenses are not suitable for use inside display cabinets.

We recently had a client who sells pearls and insisted on using LED strips with lenses. The supplier of these strips was recommended by the client themselves.

Our factory usually has its own trusted suppliers for LED strips, but given the client's request, we decided to try out their recommendation before committing to a large order.

Upon testing, several significant issues became apparent:

1. High Power Consumption: These LED strips with lenses consume an excessive amount of power, which is unnecessary for the interior of a display cabinet that typically stands at only twenty to thirty centimeters high.

The lens design is intended for longer reach and more focused light, making it unsuitable for such confined spaces. Moreover, these strips operate at 24 volts, whereas our standard cabinet lighting operates at 12 volts. This higher voltage increases the client’s production costs unnecessarily.

2. Heat Generation: Due to the high power consumption, the strips generate a considerable amount of heat. Within half an hour, they become too hot to touch, posing a risk when installed within a glass display case.

3. Poor Quality: During our half-day trial, two of the LEDs on the strip failed. The quality concerns raised by this sample make us hesitant to proceed with their product, especially considering the difficulty in bending the strips to fit our curved cabinets.

In contrast, our own LED strip and diffuser combination is designed to prevent glare, ensuring that customers viewing items in the cabinet do not experience discomfort from direct exposure to the LED bulbs. Our dedication to refining every component used in our display cabinets, such as the LED strips and diffusers, reflects our commitment to excellence. It took over a year of prototyping and testing to finalize our current universal diffuser design, taking into account factors such as color temperature, light threshold, angle, and directionality.
